The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the Provisional Selection List of candidates for admission to 12th Based Paramedical Courses-2026 after the completion of the second round of online counselling.

The selection list covers candidates provisionally allotted seats in Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the admission process within the schedule notified by the Board.

The notification has been issued pursuant to JKBOPEE Notification No. 125-BOPEE of 2026 dated 27 July 2026, under which candidates were allowed to submit their online preferences for the second round of counselling from 29 July to 31 July 2026.

The selection list is for 12th Based Paramedical Courses-2026 offered through Government and Private Colleges/Institutions in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

• Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, as applicable
• 12th Class qualifying marks certificate
• Date of Birth Certificate/Matriculation or Secondary School Certificate
• Valid Reserved Category Certificate, wherever applicable
• Any other certificate required by the concerned college/institution

For candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh, the ST Certificate issued by the competent authority of Ladakh will be treated as the Domicile Certificate, as stated in the notification.

Candidates should also ensure that their documents meet the eligibility requirements prescribed in JKBOPEE Notification No. 043-BOPEE of 2026 dated 17 March 2026 and the relevant e-Information Brochure.

What Selected Candidates Need to Do

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 2 should follow these steps:

1. Log in to the JKBOPEE portal using their own credentials.
2. Download the Provisional Allotment Letter.
3. Report physically to the allotted college/institution.
4. Carry all required original documents for verification.
5. Complete the admission formalities within the prescribed deadline.
6. Obtain the joining certificate from the institution.
7. Verify the joining status on the JKBOPEE portal.

Important: Admission is to be completed through the JKBOPEE online admission portal only. Admissions made through offline mode will not be accepted.

Representation Against the Selection List

Candidates who have an objection regarding their position in the Provisional Selection List may submit a representation along with documentary evidence by 10 August 2026, 4:00 PM.

A representation should be supported by relevant documents. Candidates should not wait until the admission deadline to raise a genuine issue concerning the provisional allotment.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join?

A candidate allotted a seat in Round 2 must report and complete admission formalities by 13 August 2026, 5:00 PM.

If the candidate fails to join the allotted institution within the prescribed period, the allotted seat will be cancelled, and the candidate's claim over that seat will cease.

Rules for Round-3 Counselling

The notification also specifies an important condition for candidates participating in a possible third round.

A candidate who was allotted a particular course/discipline and institution in Round 2 and:

• joined the allotted seat;
• failed to join; or
• cancelled the admission after joining,

will not be permitted to opt for the same course/discipline in the same institution in Round 3.

However, such a candidate may opt for other courses/disciplines in the same institution and courses/disciplines in other institutions, subject to seat availability.

Admission Cancellation

Candidates who decide to cancel their admission after joining may submit an admission cancellation application on or before the last date fixed for reporting/joining, i.e. 13 August 2026, 5:00 PM.

The concerned institution will upload the cancellation application on the admission portal and cancel the admission.

No fee shall be charged by the institution for cancellation of a seat during any round of counselling.
