NEW DELHI: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has extended the closing date of submission of online application for Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2020, till December 19, 2020. The Commission said that the SSC CHSL 2020 last date has been extended in view of the difficulties faced by aspiring candidates in the filling of online application due to heavy load on servers.

Eligible candidates who are yet to fill up the forms are advised to visit the official website of SSC — ssc.nic.in — to submit their application at the earliest.

- Last date and time for receipt of online application: 19-12-2020 (23:30)
- Last date and time for making online fee payment: 21-12-2020 (23:30)
- Last date and time for generation of offline Challan: 23-12-2020 (23:30)
- Last date for payment through Challan (during working hours of Bank): 24-12-2020
The Staff Selection Commission conducts competitive examination for the recruitment to the posts of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operators for various Ministries/ Departments/ Offices of the Government of India.
The online application process of the SSC CHSL exam commenced on November 6. Although the last date to submit the online application ends today, candidates can make application fee payment till December 21. Candidates can generate offline challan till December 23. The last date to make online payment through challan is December 24.
As per the schedule available on the Commission’s website, the Tier I exam will be held from April 12 to 27.
Application Fee Candidates need to pay an application fee of Rs 100. Candidates can make payment through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branches by generating SBI Challan.
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) categories, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are eligible for reservation and are exempted from payment of the application fee.
