Earthquake jolts Kashmir, epicenter Punjab
A terrifying earthquake shook Kashmir valley as well as northern India’s states and parts of Pakistan on Friday night.
The tremor had it’s epicenter 21 kms East-SouthEast of Amritsar Punjab. It magnitude was 6.1 and had a shallow depth of 10 kms, according to National Center of Seismology.
The earthquake happened at 10:34 pm.
The earthquake forced panicked residents to run out of their houses to seek shelter in open spaces.
There was no immediate report of casualties or damage to property in Kashmir region.
