MeT issues S𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙚 W𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 A𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙅&𝙆

The department had issued a advisory that ongoing spell may led to flash floods, mudslide, landslide and water logging ( low lying areas).

The Meteorological department has issued a severe weather advisory in Jammu and Kashmir.

Director MeT, Sonam Lotus said at present, it's cloudy at most place s of JK with thunderstorm and rain at some places of Poonch, Rajouri, Reasi and neighborhood.
 
" Widespread intermittent rain most likely to continue till 30th. 
Heavy to Very Rain is also possible at some places," he said.
 
The department had issued a advisory that ongoing spell may 
led to flash floods, mudslide, landslide and water logging ( low lying areas). 
 
" Accordinly, people are once again advised to remain alert and very cautious as water levels has rised in all rivers," he said.
 
He urged people in hilly areas to not to venture out as it can lead to landslides, mudslide prone areas.
