More than 8k PhD Seats Open for Admission in Ten Central and State Universities

New Delhi, July 27 : 

In India, there are more than 50 Central Universities, which are controlled by Union Government of India. 

There are more than 412 state universities in India, which are controlled by state governments. 

These universities offer quality education at affordable price.

For the current session of PhD Admission, there are 10 CUs and Nine state universities have notified admission with a large number of PhD seats. 

PhD aspirants can apply for vacant PhD seats. 

Here, more than 3,000 PhD Seats are available for admissions.

As on 27 July 2021, there are nine state universities which have opened admission for PhD programmes. 

The total number of seats are available are 5,000 seats.

2. Pondicherry University – 214 PhD seats -14 August 2021

3. Central University of Rajasthan -171 PhD Seats- 02 August 2021

4. Tezpur University – 10 August 2021

5. University of Hyderabad – 292 PhD Seats – 03 Aug 2021

6. Maulana Azad National Urdu University- 146 PhD Seats – 09 Aug 2021 (After Extension)

7. Mizoram University- 211 PhD Seats – 20 July 2021

8. Sikkim University – 130 PhD Seats – 31 July 2021

9. South Asian University

10. Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)-980 PhD Seats
