Srinagar : Urooba Sadiq, a NEET (UG) drop-out candidate from north Kashmir’s Bandipora district has been running from pillar to post to seek justice. “I approached every organisation to get justice and to see my own OMR sheet but I didn’t get any help. Later, I decided to register my complaint with the Crime Branch to highlight my case so that justice is done,” Urooba said. However, the Crime Branch, according to Urooba is yet to respond to her grievance. “My dreams have been shattered. I am mentally disturbed as I am not able to download my NEET OMR sheet,” she said. Chairman BOPEE Shafiq Ahmad Raina told Greater Kashmir that the board had nothing to do with the NEET exam. “The candidate should get her case resolved at the NTA office,” he said

All her efforts for the past two months have yielded no result.

After passing her class 12th exam, this year on September 12 Urooba appeared in her NEET UG exam by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
“I approached every organisation to get justice and to see my own OMR sheet but I didn’t get any help. Later, I decided to register my complaint with the Crime Branch to highlight my case so that justice is done,” Urooba said. However, the Crime Branch, according to Urooba is yet to respond to her grievance. “My dreams have been shattered. I am mentally disturbed as I am not able to download my NEET OMR sheet,” she said. “ I was shocked to see that my OMR sheet was exchanged with another student who has been awarded only seven points,” she said. After writing her NEET-UG exams, a confident Urooba was eagerly waiting for the results.

“ The OMR sheets were released by NTA on October 13. When I submitted my application number to download my OMR, I was surprised to see that my OMR sheet was exchanged with some other female student,” Urooba said.

She said that after submitting her application number, the website displayed the OMR sheet of Rafia Gulzar with only a seven-point score.

“ Resultantly, I was not able to download my own OMR sheet to get my result,” she said.

Since then, Urooba has been running from pillar to post to seek justice but in vain.

“ I went to the office of NTA, New Delhi as well as the office of J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (BOPEE) and submitted my grievance in J&K Grievance Cell but didn’t get any help from anywhere,” she said. “I approached every organisation to get justice and to see my own OMR sheet but I didn’t get any help. Later, I decided to register my complaint with the Crime Branch to highlight my case so that justice is done,” Urooba said. However, the Crime Branch, according to Urooba is yet to respond to her grievance. “My dreams have been shattered. I am mentally disturbed as I am not able to download my NEET OMR sheet,” she said. When nothing worked for Urooba, she finally approached the Crime Branch J&K to submit her complaint about the alleged exchange of her OMR sheet of the NEET-UG exam.
