India’s Chief of Defence Staff General Bipin Rawat died in a helicopter crash in the southern state of Tamil Nadu on December 8, according to the air force said.

Gen Rawat was India’s first chief of CDS, a position that the government established in 2019.

“ The executive magistrate of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir passed an order to that effect in exercise of powers under Sections 107 (security for keeping the peace), 108 (security for good behaviour from persons disseminating seditious matters), and 151 (arrest to prevent the commission of cognisable offences) of the Code of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC),” the news website reported.

Haji is a director of the non profit Haji Public School in Kashmir and widely respected for the good work she and her school does.

The school is located in Breswana, which the website says is located at an altitude of 8,483 ft and accessible on foot or horseback

Many Twitter users had called for Sabbah's arrest and legal action after her comments.

Her subsequent arrest had left many users shocked and questioned the presence of freedom of speech.

However, her release from jail has brought some good news for her followers.

Ather Zia, a Kashmiri, lamented the ongoing cases against women.
