Today, weather is generally cloudy in J&K, Kargil dist and mainly clear Leh dist.(will become cloudy as the day progresses). 

𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙩 : As per today's 𝚊𝚗𝚊𝚕𝚢𝚜𝚒𝚜 , 𝙻𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚂𝙽𝙾𝚆 𝚒𝚜 𝚎𝚡𝚙𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝙷𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚎𝚛 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑𝚎𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝙺𝚊𝚜𝚑𝚖𝚒𝚛, 𝚉𝚘𝚓𝚒𝚕𝚊-𝙳𝚛𝚊𝚜𝚜 𝚊𝚡𝚒𝚜 𝚍𝚞𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐/𝚗𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚖𝚊𝚢 𝚌𝚘𝚗𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚞𝚎 𝚝𝚘𝚖𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚘𝚠. 

Widespread Snow/Rain Spell of Moderate 𝚝𝚘 𝙷𝚎𝚊𝚟𝚢 𝚒ntensity is Most Likely during 4-6th Jan in both UTs with Main Activity on 5-6th. Heavy Snow is expected at some places durin 5-6th(𝙈𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙞𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣).

Light Snow is expected over higher reaches of Kashmir during 1-2𝚗𝚍 Jan.
