Srinagar : A young Kashmiri is among the four IIM Indore students who bagged the Aditya Birla Scholar,’ Class of 2021-22. A very respected scholarship, the candidates get an amount of Rs 1,75,000, a year.

Burhan Ashraf, who hails from Shamaipora Anantnag is among the four students who have been selected among the 340 applicants received from across India this year.

The Aditya Birla Scholarship Programme is the Group’s way of pursuing Aditya Vikram Birla’s ideals of spawning leaders with a passion to excel.

Instituted in 1999, the Aditya Birla Scholarships provide an excellent opportunity for Scholars to learn through networking with the country’s first truly global conglomerate.

Burhan is an NIT Srinagar alumni of the 2018 batch who has completed his B Tech in Computer Sciences.

Burhan was hired by Wipro Technologies from the NIT campus for their overseas clients – Philips Health care in New Zealand for the Cloud Solutions project in CRM of Sales Gorce USA.

While in Wipro Project, he qualified CAT 2020 with 98.16 percentile and was offered admission by 16 IIMs, Two IITs, MDP and IMT Ghaziabad and Dubai. He finally settled for IIM Indore PGP (MBA) 2021-23 where he is currently pursuing his Management Degree.

Burhan Ashraf, now an Aditya Birla Scholar will receive a scholarship amount of Rs 1,75,000 per annum

Burhan has made the cut for many prestigious scholarships and the AB scholarship, which he won is a very rare feat by any Kashmiri and has added unmatched credentials to his profile.(KashmirLife)
