Industrial Traning Institute ITI Kulgam carries sanitation cum awareness programme
Kulgam, March 31 : A sanitation cum awareness programme was today carried out by Industrial Traning Programme (ITI) in collaboration with Municipal Council Kulgam at ITI Kulgam .
The programme was attended by Munciple council chairperson Muneeb Ahmad Zargar, Munciple council voice chairperson Sareer ahamed, Principle ITI Kulgam Sahil Rashid, Students of ITI college and officers and officials of ITI and Munciple council Kulgam
Principal ITI Kulgam Sahil Rashid while highlighting the objective of the programme said that the main motive of the programme was to develop a proper attitude of citizens towards the environment to improve sanitation in and around their area.
He added that such programmes will be conducted in future too to sensitize the people at the mass level.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairperson MC Kulgam Muneeb Zargar highlighted the importance of maintaining sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene. He appealed the participants, Students to keep their surroundings clean and also motivate others for the same.
He called upon the public to discard the use of polythene, maintain hygiene, keeping water resources clean for a holistic clean environment in the district. Chairperson MC also thanked all the participants who participated in the drive and appealed the general public to maintain cleanliness in kulgam.
