High Level Meeting On Petroleum and Natural Gas

Srinagar, May 07 : Parliamentary Committee on  Petroleum and Natural Gas under chairmanship of Sh. Ramesh Bidhuri, interacted with Sh. S M Vaidya, Chairman I ndian Oil Corporation Limited in Srinagar. Also present on the occasion were Sh. 

Jitendra Kumar Executive Director and State Head, Punjab State Office, Sh. Sandeep Makker ED Retail Transformation, Sh. S S Lamba, ED LPG, Sh. Rajesh Kumar Sayal, ED I/c (supplies) and other higher officials of Indian Oil. 

During the interaction the concept of Free Trade LPG (FTL) was explained to the Honourable Members of Parliament. 

The honourable members appreciated the concept of FTL cylinders and expressed satisfaction as this will help in making LPG available in every nook and corner of the country and will immensely benefit all Citizens including migrant labourers. 

Further because of the light weight of FTL cylinder, it will be easy to reach to rural population living in Durgam areas.

After the interaction Chhotu 5 kg Free Trade LPG (FTL) of Indian Oil was launched by Sh. 

Ramesh Bidhuri, Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on  Petroleum and Natural Gas alongwith Sh. S M Vaidya, Chairman Indian Oil Corporation Limited at Srinagar.(GN)
