JAMMU, Nov 07 : The Central Bureau of Investigations (CBI) today further cracked down on belt force personnel involved in leakage of question papers of Sub Inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) and JE Civil by arresting two of their personnel and two others including a printing press employee in New Delhi.

With this, total arrests in the paper leakage scam have gone up to 13 including a BSF Commandant working as the Medical Officer (MO) at Paloura Headquarters.

Official sources told that Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) of police Ashok Kumar, then posted at Nowabad Police Station as Munshi and presently at Kanachak Police Station, a resident of Chodraywalla, Pallanwalla and Surinder Kumar, a constable of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) posted at Chatha near Satwari, a resident of Rewari in Haryana, were among the four persons arrested this evening for their involvement in the scam, by the CBI.

Two other arrested persons include Vajinder Singh of Rewari, Haryana and Pardeep Kumar of New Delhi, who was working in the printing press from where the question papers were leaked.

Three kin of ASI Ashok Kumar including his son, daughter and son-in-law figured in merit list of Sub Inspectors in Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Twin exams of Sub Inspector and JE Civil have already been cancelled by the Government and will be held afresh in December.
