Proud! Cracked UPSC Exam After Studying From Orphanage, 21 Earlier Government Jobs Then Became IPS

Shihab also hurled a stone in a fit of spirit and also made a hole in the sky. Yes, we are talking about IPS Mohammad Ali Shihab, who completed his studies till class 12th in an orphanage. People yearn for a government job. Whereas Shihab passed 21 government jobs. His aim was UPSC and he finally accomplished this aim by becoming an IPS.

Mohammed Ali Shihab is a resident of Edavannappara village in Mallapuram district of Kerala. Shihab’s father’s name is Korot Ali and mother’s Fatima. Shihab’s father died in 1991 due to some illness. As a child, Shihab used to sell bamboo baskets and betel leaves with his father. After the death of the father, the entire responsibility of the house rested on the mother.

Studying in an orphanage

Shihab’s mother was unable to fully support her five children. So he sent his three children to an orphanage for a good upbringing. This is the reason why Shihab has studied till twelfth standard while living in an orphanage. After this, while pursuing further studies through distance mode, he was also preparing for a government job.

Peon started with job

Shihab got the job of a peon in the year 2004. Then also worked as TTE and Jail Warden in Railways. But his aim was to become an IPS officer. During this, he used to prepare for UPSC exam. Mohammad Ali Shihab continued his studies while juggling his job and family responsibilities. Despite being unsuccessful in his first two attempts, he did not give up. In 2011, Mohd Ali Shihab cleared the UPSC exam in his third attempt and secured an all India rank of 226. (Tezzbuzz) reports
