Selected Jr Asstts appreciate LG, ex-minister Sukhnandan; seek Rozgar Mela for joint joining


JAMMU: A delegation of over 300 selected Junior Assistants met former minister and senior BJP leader Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar, appreciated his efforts to support them in joining the government service and also conveyed gratitude for LG Manoj Sinha and sought a Rozgar Mela for their joint joining of all the selected candidates of Jammu province.

Over 1,500 candidates from Jammu province were selected after clearing SSB’s written examination and after facing administrative delays, these unemployed youth both boys and girls have been allowed by the UT government administration to join the service. 

These newly selected candidates delegation on Wednesday morning visited the residence of former Minister Ch Sukhnandan Kumar and appreciated his role in acting as a bridge between them and the UT administration. 

They also appealed to the former minister to forward their request to Raj Bhawan for arranging Rozgar Mela for these selected candidates to felicitate joint joining of over 1500 selected candidates of the Jammu province.

The former Minister while addressing the delegation of selected candidates, assured to carry forward their request. He said, “LG Sinha has already conveyed to all the officers and head of departments to felicitate all the newly selected candidates.”

Noting that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir is inherently capable and talented, the former minister Ch Sukhnandan Kumar said the UT administration is committed to providing them the right platforms and have taken many historic decisions in this regard, including the establishment of Youth Clubs in all the Panchayats across the UT.

He further said that in the first phase, under the guidance of LG Manoj Sinha, young boys and girls are being connected with different cultural, sports, skill development, and community programs. 

J&K Sports Council is also organizing sporting events every day in different disciplines both in Jammu as well as in Kashmir and the immense youth engagement clearly narrates their success stories. 

“These steps have been highly appreciated everywhere and will bring a new revolution in the field of youth engagement and employment,” Sukhnandan said. (State Times)
