Sankoo Campus of Degree College Kargil holds NEP awareness at Higher Sec. School Barsoo

Sankoo Campus of Degree College Kargil conducted Awareness program about "New Education Policy in Higher Education" at Higher Secondary School Barsoo on Monday, 25th March 2023. A team from the campus led by Dr. Abid Hussain (Assistant Professor Zoology) left for the school at 12 noon.
The program was aimed at creating awareness about the NEP 2020 that is going to be implemented to undergraduate program of the various constituent colleges of University of Ladakh from comming session. In the beginning Monzoor Ahmad Bhat (Teaching Faculty EVS Sankoo Campus) gave a brief introduction of the program with key highlights .
Dr. Abid Hussain (Assistant Professor Zoology) gave a detailed presentation about the New Education Policy and it's objectives.
He made the students aware about the Course structure,Multiple Entry and Exit system, Academic Bank of Credit and other significant details of Under Graduate courses at higher education level through power point presentation.
Students of Classes 11th and 12th participated in the program.
They interacted with the resource persons regarding various issues related to the New Education Policy. The students took keen sense of interest in the program and thanked the college authorities for conducting such programs at their school.
The college authorities expressed gratitude to the School Principal for giving opportunity to interact with the students about this important issue.
Volunteer students from College NSS wing were engaged for prior arrangement of the program and helped actively to make the program successful. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Principal of the school GM Khan. In his concluding remarks, the principal urged the students to avail higher educational facilities being provided at their doorstep.
He appreciated the efforts of Visiting team for timely conducting awareness program for the students of their institution. The program was attended by all staff members of the school.
This program shall remain continue in other feeding schools of the college campus in the coming days too.
