GAT-B/BET 2023 Exam: NTA postponed the exam dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2023. Candidates can check the notification at dbt.nta.ac.in.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday postponed the exam dates for the Graduate Aptitude Test Biotechnology (GAT-B)/ Biotechnology Eligibility Test (BET) 2023. Candidates who have registered for the exam can check the notification at– dbt.nta.ac.in.
The GAT-B/BET 2023 exam was earlier scheduled on April 23, 2023. Now the NTA has rescheduled the exam on May 13, 2023. However, the agency has not shared any specific reason for the postponement of the examination.
According to the schedule, GAT-B/BET 2023 exam will be conducted on May 13, 2023. The GAT-B paper will commence at 9:00 am and will conclude at 12 noon. While the BET paper will start at 3 pm and will end at 6 pm.
GAT-B/BET 2023: Exam Pattern
GAT B paper will consist of 160 questions, with candidates required to attempt 120 of them. The total marks will be 240. BET paper will consist of 200 questions and candidates have to attempt 100 questions. The total marks will be 300.
The GAT-B/BET city intimation slip and admit cards will be released soon on the official website. Candidates are advised to check the official website regularly for the latest updates.
The GAT-B/BET is a national entrance exam for the Department of Biotechnology's supported Post Graduate Programme in Biotechnology and related fields in participating Institutions (GAT-·B) and for the award of the DBT Junior Research Fellowship (DBT-JRF) for pursuing research in frontier areas of Biotechnology (BET).
