LAHDC-KSSRB successfully conducts OMR-based 10+2 level examination


Kargil, May 21: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Kargil Santosh Sukhadeve today inspected several examination centres established for the smooth conduct of the OMR-Based 12th level examination conducted by Kargil Subordinate Service Recruitment Board (KSSRB), LAHDC, Kargil.

During the inspection, DC Santosh, who is also chairman of the KSSRB, visited Conference Hall, Baroo, Munshi Habibullah Mission Higher Secondary School, Kargil, and other places where the examination centres for the examination were set up.

DC Kargil informed that for the smooth and transparent conduct of examination CCTV cameras were installed in each examination centre with backup facilities.

Deployed Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents and other concerned officers from different departments were assigned the responsibilities for smooth conduct of the examination.

The District Administration Kargil had made all the required arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination which was conducted successfully.

The examination was conducted in the morning and afternoon shifts with different paper sets and standard procedures were followed across the examination centres in the district.

After the completion of the 2nd session, Deputy Commissioner, while interacting with the observers and other supervisory staffs at District Employment and Counseling Center Kargil, opined that after completion of Matric Level examination, Answer KEY for all three categories of examination will be notified and for any misprint or issue with any question, grace marks would be awarded.

The Deputy Commissioner also assured that the entire District Administration is determined to make the examination process fair and transparent.

Deputy Director Employment/Secretary KSSRB, Iftakhar Naseem informed that 11,389 candidates including candidates of Zanskar Sub Division were supposed to appear in Sunday’s examination.

He further informed that nearly 80 percent of candidates appeared in the KSSRB examination at 31 exam centres across the district.
