School Education Department Honors NEET Qualifiers and Top Scorers of 10th/12th in Kashmir Division
In an impressive function organized by Directorate of School Education Kashmir, School Education Department felicitated NEET Qualifiers and 10th/12th Toppers of Kashmir Division for their splendid achievement in the auditorium of GHSS Kothibagh.
The program was attended by Shri Alok Kumar (IRS), Principal Secretary SED as Chief Guest, Mr. Naseer Ahmed Wani, Special Secretary SED, Mr Deep Raj Kanethia PD Samagra, CEOs, Principals of some Higher Secondary Schools, Teachers, Parents and students.
The program included Cultural events by the students of GHSS Kothibagh, SP HSS, GHSS Nawakadal and addresses by the dignitaries.
All the NEET qualifiers and 10th/12th toppers were given a Computer Tab for augmenting their learning and to match pace with the outer world of competitions, they were also awarded the Certificates of Merit & Achievement by the Department. Overall, 122 Computer Tabs were provided during the function.
Pertinent to mention here that hundreds of students from Government Schools have qualified NEET this year and many more have achieved top positions in Class 10th & 12th examinations.
Sh. Alok Kumar while congratulating the students on this feat highlighted that these achievers should remain connected to their alma mater and keep passing on this legacy to other students, he also advised the achievers to give back to the society what they have got and give due credits to the teachers and the parents for this success, he further said that they should also convey the future aspirants about the colleges they are applying for and make full use of Prime Minister’s Scholarship which supports these achievers in many ways, and finally he applauded all the achievers, Teachers parents and the functionaries of the School Education Department for this glaring success.
While speaking on the event DSEK Dr Tassaduq Hussain Mir emphasized that the students should follow these success stories and work hard as there is no short cut to success, he also said that the achievers should mentor others for achieving the same feat. (DSEK)
