JKBOPEE Counselling Schedule 2023: B.Sc. Nursing/Paramedical/ Technology Courses Admission Preferences

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) has announced the counselling schedule for eligible candidates seeking admission to B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Paramedical, and B.Sc. Technology Courses for the year 2023. This step follows the declaration of the result of the Common Entrance Test held on 11th June 2023, as per Notification No.040-BOPEE of 2023 dated 15th July 2023.

In its continuous efforts to ensure fairness and accuracy, the Board provided an opportunity to eligible candidates to rectify errors in their application data by submitting representations for correction. The candidates were allowed to make corrections related to Date of Birth, Preferences, Gender, and Category status, with the last date for submissions set on 11th May 2023.

Based on the received representations and after careful examination, the Board has now released the counselling schedule for the submission of online preferences. Eligible candidates can participate in the First Round of Online Counselling if they have secured up to 30 marks out of 180 in the Common Entrance Test, up to Rank 7006 as per the Provisional Merit List released on 15th July 2023.

Before engaging in the online counselling process, candidates are strongly advised to verify their details, including Name, Gender, Category, and Date of Birth, in the Provisional Merit List. Any discrepancies must be reported to the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar through a representation by 23rd August 2023, as seat allotment will be based on the credentials mentioned in the Annexure-A of Notification No.040-BOPEE of 2023.

The online preference submission process will be available from 25th August 2023 to 30th August 2023 (Midnight). Candidates are required to pay a counselling fee of Rs. 1000 and ensure accurate reflection of the payment in their submitted preferences. If candidates wish to modify their preferences, they can approach the BOPEE office in person for unlocking purposes until 29th August 2023.

The Board will provisionally allow candidates who haven't uploaded certain documents such as Domicile Certificate or Marks Cards during the counselling process. However, candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as specified in Notification No. 023-BOPEE of 2023 Dated: 18.04.2023 and submit these documents at the time of admission if selected.

Important notes regarding category certificate validity, seat allocation, and admission criteria are included in the notification. It's essential to remember that admission based on online preferences is provisional and can be canceled if false or fabricated information is discovered.
