JKBOPEE M.Sc. Nursing Course-2023 Counseling: Schedule & Details


The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is set to conduct counseling for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing Course-2023 in Government and Private Colleges/Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. The counseling process comes after the Board declared the results of the Common Entrance Test on August 14, 2023, and released the Provisional Merit List of candidates who appeared for the test.

The candidates who secured up to 35 marks out of 120 marks in the Common Entrance Test, which translates to up to Rank 217 of the Provisional Merit List, are eligible to participate in the physical round of counseling. This physical round aims to ensure a fair and transparent admission process for the M.Sc. Nursing Course.


Counseling Schedule:
  • - Date: August 31, 2023 (Thursday)
  • - Rank: 01 to 217
  • - Remarks: All Candidates, including reserved categories

Eligible candidates are required to be physically present at the BOPEE Office in Jammu or Srinagar between 08.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. on the specified date for attendance, registration, and the counseling process. The candidates must bring the following original documents:
  • - Domicile Certificate
  • - Marks Card of B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. Hons. Nursing
  • - One year of work experience after B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
  • - Certificate as a registered Nurse or Registered Midwifery from any state Nursing Council
  • - Valid Category Certificate (if applicable)

Additionally, participating candidates are required to deposit a counseling fee of Rs. 1000/- using the POS Machines available at the BOPEE office in Jammu or Srinagar through Debit/Credit cards. This fee is essential for participation in the counseling process.

In the case of candidates unable to attend counseling personally on the prescribed date due to unavoidable circumstances, they can authorize a close family member (blood relation) to attend on their behalf. The authorized person must present an authorization letter, along with their Identity Card and Aadhar Card during the counseling process.

It's important to note that the counseling process will halt as soon as the seats are fully exhausted, and no further claims from waiting candidates will be entertained.
