All govt schools in Jammu to hold parent-teacher meet on Sep 26


Srinagar, Sep 22: The Director of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has asked all the Chief Education Officers of the division to hold a parent-teacher meet on September 26 on the theme ‘Role of parents in developing life skills among children’ in all the government schools.

Director School Education Jammu, Ashok Kumar Sharma said that the parent-teacher meet for this month will be held in all schools in Jammu Division on September 26 (Saturday).

He said the parent-teacher meet has become a regular feature in government schools, and as a follow-up, every government institution will hold this meet on Saturday along with routine academic and context-specific themes.

According to a DSEJ circular, the parents should be made aware of various aspects of life skills.

Proper data regarding the number of parents, learners, and teachers who attended the event should be submitted to this office for compilation of the divisional report, the circular mentions. (Rising Kashmir)
