The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has recently issued an important notification regarding the online registration of NEET UG-2023 qualified candidates from the Union Territory of J&K and Ladakh for admission to Ayush (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy) and BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) Courses for the year 2023.

Here's a breakdown of the key details you need to know:

Registration Period: The registration process will be open from September 4, 2023, to September 7, 2023.

Required Documents: Candidates who have secured the minimum qualifying marks in NEET UG-2023 and wish to participate in the online counseling process for BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery), and BPT Courses must register afresh. During registration, candidates must upload the following documents:

1. NEET UG-2023 Score Card

2. 10+2 Marks Card

3. Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K (ST Category Certificate for Ladakh candidates)

4. Category Certificate (if applicable)

5. Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation)


Cut-Off Scores: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has specified different cut-off scores for various categories. It's essential to meet these scores to be eligible for registration.
  • - Open Merit (including EWS/ JKPM/Child of PMF/CDP/Sports): 137
  • - Open Merit (EWS/ Handicapped/PWD): 121
  • - SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP (For J&K/ Ladakh): 107
  • - SC/ST/RBA/ALC/IB/OSC/PSP (Handicapped/PWD): 107
  • - ST (Physically Handicapped/PWD): 108

Previous Registrations: Candidates who have already registered for NEET MBBS/BDS Courses-2023 and have their names listed in the Provisional UT Merit List (PML) need not register again for Ayush Courses - 2023.

Incomplete Registrations: Candidates who have previously registered for NEET MBBS/BDS Courses - 2023 but have either not cleared document deficiencies or have incomplete forms can participate in the counseling process for Ayush Courses - 2023. However, they must visit the BOPEE office physically to resolve these issues within the specified cutoff date.

E-Information Brochure: Candidates are advised to review the e-Information Brochure for NEET-UG BAMS/BUMS/BPT-2023 Courses, available on the BOPEE website, before proceeding with registration.

  • - Under-process certificates will not be accepted.
  • - There is no registration fee.
  • - Mobile phones should not be used for registration, as the software will not accept submissions via mobile.
  • - Only category certificates issued before the registration date will be accepted.
  • - Admissions are purely provisional and may be canceled for false information.
  • - Candidates must meet all criteria specified by NTA and BOPEE.
  • - Eligibility is subject to fulfillment of benchmarks as per INC Guidelines.
