JKBOSE Online Registration Returns for Class 9th - Academic Session 2023-24


The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has released the schedule for the submission of Online Registration Returns for Class 9th students for the academic session 2023-24. This is a crucial step for students who are on-rolls in Class 9th in the affiliated academic institutions/schools of the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.


Important Dates:

- Submission without late fee: The submission of Registration Returns without a late fee will be open from September 30, 2023, and will close on October 31, 2023. The prescribed fee per candidate for this period is Rs. 610/-.

- Submission with late fee (1st count of 10 days): If you miss the regular submission window, you can still submit with a late fee of Rs. 70/- in addition to the normal prescribed fee. This period opens on November 1, 2023, and closes on November 10, 2023. The total fee during this period is Rs. 690/-.

- Submission with late fee (2nd count of 10 days): For those who need more time, there's a second count of 10 days with a late fee of Rs. 80/- in addition to the normal prescribed fee, totaling Rs. 690/-. This period starts from November 11, 2023, and ends on November 20, 2023.

- Submission with late fee (3rd count of 10 days): The final opportunity for submission with a late fee includes an additional charge of Rs. 95/- in addition to the normal prescribed fee, making it a total of Rs. 705/-. This period opens on November 21, 2023, and closes on November 30, 2023.


Instructions and Guidelines:

- To submit Registration Return Forms, visit the official JKBOSE website at www.jkbose.nic.in. The URL for submission will be available on the website for students/schools.

- Only students who are on-roll in Class 9th for the Academic Session 2023-24 and will attain the age of fourteen (14) years or more on the first day of May 2025 to appear in the Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) are eligible.

- Heads of affiliated academic institutions should verify that all filled-in particulars are genuine and in line with admission records before forwarding them online to JKBOSE.

- Once verified and certified by the academic institution, the candidate's particulars will be considered final in the JKBOSE database. No further correspondence or claims will be accepted at a later stage.

- Only affiliated academic institutions with facilities released for the current Academic Session 2023-24 by the General Section are eligible to transmit registration returns of their on-roll eligible students.

- For disabled candidates with a disability of forty percent (40%) or more, registration return fees are exempted. They should submit a printout of the form online, attested by the head of the concerned academic institution, along with a disability certificate from the relevant Medical Board to the JKBOSE Sub/Branch offices. •JKSA
