JKSSB Class-IV Final Selection List: Allocation of Cadres & Departments

JKSSB Final Selection List & Allocation of Cadres: Important Update for Class-IV Posts

In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued a crucial notification regarding the final selection list and allocation of cadres and departments for the remaining Class-IV posts under the provisions of the J&K Appointment to Class-IV (Special Recruitment) Rules, 2020, which were advertised vide Notification No. 01 of 2020 dated 26.06.2020. This announcement also covers the release of previously withheld cases. Here's what you need to know:

Background:

- The JKSSB, during its 227th, 229th, and 232nd Board Meetings, deliberated on various withheld cases of Class-IV selection that were initially notified on 06.10.2022.

- After careful consideration and fulfilling the deficiencies noted in various candidates' documents, the Board has decided to release the withheld recommendations for nine candidates.

What's Next:

The list of these nine (09) candidates, whose withheld recommendations have been cleared, can be found in Annexure-A of the official communication. The responsibility of verifying the authenticity and recognition status of the educational institutions will be with the Indenting Department and appointing authority.

Additionally, the candidates who claimed additional weightage based on certain certificates must have these certificates verified from the issuing authorities. The final merit determination was based on written scores and the claimed additional weightage.

Important Note:

- The eligibility of candidates in terms of minimum and maximum qualifications (10th and 10+2 respectively) has been accepted based on self-declarations and affidavits submitted by the candidates. Appointing authorities are responsible for further verification.

- If any certificate or document is found to be fake or fictitious during the verification process, appropriate legal action will be taken against the candidates. These recommendations are also subject to ongoing inquiries and the outcome of any pending writ petitions in competent courts.

Verification Rolls:

Candidates, whose recommendations are released, are required to submit their verification rolls in triplicate before the appointing authority within 21 days from the date of release. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of their right to appointment.
