JKSSB Sub Inspector (SI) CBT Exam 2023 Results Out Now! Check Your Score

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has just released the results and scoresheets for the Computer Based Written Test (CBT) conducted for the post of Sub Inspector (SI) in the Home Department, UT Cadre. This notification comes as a crucial update for candidates who appeared for the CBT between December 7, 2022, and December 20, 2022.

Here's the breakdown of what you need to know:

1. The Final Answer Key: The final answer key for the CBT was officially published on November 3, 2023. This key is essential for assessing your performance during the examination.

2. Additional Marks for NCC Certificate Holders: For candidates with National Cadet Corps (NCC) certificates, additional marks have been awarded as follows:

- 5% of the maximum marks for "C" certificate holders.

- 3% of the maximum marks for "B" certificate holders.

- 2% of the maximum marks for "A" certificate holders.

3. Update on Upper-Age Limit: Some candidates raised concerns about the upper-age limit for the Sub Inspector post, leading to legal action. The Central Administrative Tribunal, Jammu Bench, directed that the application forms of the concerned applicants be accepted, and they should be allowed to participate in the selection process at their own cost and risk. However, their results would be withheld until further orders from the Tribunal.

4. Result and Scoresheet Release: The results and scoresheets of candidates who appeared for the CBT, except those cases affected by the Tribunal's orders, are now available for viewing. These results are based on the performance of candidates during the CBT held from December 7, 2022, to December 20, 2022. For those candidates whose results are withheld, further updates will be provided once the Tribunal reaches a decision.

Important Notes:

- Merely appearing in the result/scoresheet does not guarantee selection. Candidates must meet all eligibility conditions specified in the official notification.

- The JKSSB will call candidates falling within the consideration zone, based on merit, for Physical Standard Test / Physical Endurance Test. The schedule for these tests will be announced separately.

- Additional marks awarded for NCC certificates will be subject to verification.

For those eagerly awaiting their results, you can check your Sub Inspector CBT Exam 2023 results in Annexure "A." If your result is currently withheld, it can be found in Annexure "B."
