CRPF Constable (GD) Recruitment 2024: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has announced a recruitment drive for 169 posts of Constable (General Duty), and this recruitment will be conducted through the sports quota.

Eligible candidates interested in applying for these positions can do so by visiting the official website rect.crpf.gov.in starting from January 16, 2024.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 15, 2024. It's important to note that only candidates with outstanding achievements in sports will be considered for selection.

This recruitment drive is specifically designed to recognize and encourage talented players who have excelled in various sports disciplines.

Sports enthusiasts skilled in activities such as Gymnastics, Judo, Wushu, Shooting, Boxing, Athletics, Archery, Wrestling (both Freestyle and Greco Roman), Taekwondo, Water Sports like Kayaking and Rowing, Weightlifting, Bodybuilding, Swimming, Karate, Diving, Yoga, Ice Hockey, Ice Skating, and more are invited to participate in the selection process.


Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) General Duty Constable Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

• Age Requirement: Applicants should be between 18 to 23 years old as of the closing date of the application i.e.,
February 15, 2024.

• Educational Qualification: Aspiring candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) from a recognized Board.

• Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply for the CRPF General Duty Constable position.

• Physical Standards: Candidates need to fulfil specific physical standards, including requirements for height, chest girth, weight, and eyesight. Detailed specifications can be found in the official notification.

• Medical Standards: As part of the eligibility criteria, candidates must meet the medical fitness standards set by the CRPF Medical Board. The details of these standards are outlined in the official guidelines provided by CRPF.



CRPF Constable (GD) Recruitment 2024: Selection Process

The CRPF GD recruitment process comprises five distinct stages, each designed to assess different aspects of a candidate's suitability for the General Duty Constable role:

• Computer-Based Test (CBT): This objective-type test evaluates candidates' knowledge in areas such as General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning, and Mathematics.


Qualifying this test is a prerequisite for advancing to subsequent stages.

• Physical Efficiency Test (PET): The PET assesses candidates' physical stamina and agility through tasks like running, jumping, and climbing. Specific criteria are established for both male and female candidates.

• Physical Standard Test (PST): The PST evaluates candidates' physical parameters, including height, weight, and chest girth, ensuring they meet the predetermined standards.

• Document Verification (DV): Candidates must submit original documents supporting their educational qualifications, age proof, and other necessary documents for thorough verification.

• Medical Examination: A comprehensive medical examination is conducted to ensure candidates are physically fit and capable of meeting the demands of the General Duty Constable role.
