DSEJ Extends Winter Break for Schools in Summer Zones
Srinagar: Given extreme cold weather conditions, the Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) Sunday extended winter vacation for all the schools of summer zones up to January 27.
“In view of prevailing extreme cold conditions and in continuation to previous orders, all the schools upto 12th class functioning in Summer Zones of Jammu Division shall observe vacations w.e.f. 22nd of January 2024 to 27th of January 2024”, reads an order.
It reads further, However, students practicing for participation in Republic Day celebrations shall continue to come for the rehearsal and the HOIs shall ensure that all the arrangements for the Republic Day Function are in place (including enthusiastic participation of the students).
