CBSE Class 10 Results 2024: Application to obtain photocopies of answer booklets begins

Candidates who are not satisfied with their results can apply for obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer books from the official website-- cbse.gov.in



CBSE 10th Result 2024: Students who had earlier applied for verification of Class 10 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results can now apply for obtaining a photocopy of evaluated answer booklets beginning today, June 4. Students will have to apply at the official website– cbse.gov.in.

For Class 10, candidates were able to apply for verification of marks from May 20 to May 24 for Rs 500 and now, they can obtain a photocopy of evaluated answer books from June 4 and June 5. A fee of Rs 500 per answer book must be paid.

In case the candidate wants to challenge the marks awarded to a particular answer, they will have to apply for revaluation. The application for revaluation of answers can be done from June 9 to June 10 and for which students need to pay 100 per question

How to apply for photocopy of evaluated answer books

Step 1: First, visit the official website of CBSE Board– cbse.gov.in

Step 2: Under the section ‘Examinations’, Click on ‘Apply for evaluated answer books’

Step 3: Then, enter roll no, five digit school number and center number

Step 4: Follow the instruction and do as per the guidelines written in the form.

Step 5: Then, Click on ‘Submit’ button and pay the application fee.

Step 6: For Future reference, download the confirmation page.

The student will be provided a scanned copy of the answer booklet in their login account after blocking all information relating to the identity of the examiner.

CBSE this year evaluated a total of 2,58,78,230 answer books for both Class 12 and 10 students, out of which 1,48,27,963 were of Class 10 and 1,10,50,267 were of Class 12. The board said that the evaluation of the student’s answer sheets was done under a ‘well-settled policy’ and listed down the steps taken for ‘error-free’ evaluation. (Indian Express)
