Speaking to the Rising Kashmir, Asmat Riyaz said that in 2023, she scored 534 points in the NEET-2023 and secured a seat in the BDS program at Government Dental College Srinagar. However, her main focus is to secure a seat in the MBBS program, for which she has obtained 603 points.

“I completed my primary education at New Era Islamia Public School in my native village, Yadipora, from Nursery to 8th grade. After that, I pursued further education at MET Sopore and Government Higher School Palhallan Pattan from 9th to 12th grade,” she stated.

Asmat emphasized that she prepared for the NEET Exams through self-study, as it allows individuals to study according to their own preferences. She also utilized YouTube channels to clarify her concepts.
“My brother has been a great source of support and guidance. He also passed the CET Exams in 2016, and with his help, I was able to crack the NEET Exams in 2023 and 2024,” she expressed.

Asmat acknowledged the immense support she received from her parents while preparing for the NEET Exams at home. She also mentioned that students who cannot afford coaching centers can access study materials for NEET preparations through the internet and YouTube, which are widely available sources for self-study worldwide.

“The students should never lose their hope. They should work very hard, as these students will also get success to qualify the NEET Exams,” Asmat said. (Rising Kashmir)
