Educational Institutions in Jammu Kashmir to Reopen Tomorrow

Srinagar 12 May: All educational institutions across Jammu and Kashmir except for border areas to reopen tomorrow after being shut due to cross border tensions in Jammu and Kashmir.

Update:

All Govt and Private schools in Doda, Kishtwar, Reasi & Ramban districts of Jammu Div to open tomorrow on 13th of May,2025.

However, all Private and Govt schools in Kathua, Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Samba and Udmp districts will remain closed tomorrow on 13th of May, 25. DSEJ

The schools will continue to remain shut in border areas of the Union Territories.

All schools and colleges to reopen from tomorrow in non-border districts of Jammu as well as Kashmir.

Education Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Sakina Itoo said, “Schools and Colleges will reopen tomorrow in all districts except border areas.”

She said, “Some universities have already announced the postponement of exams till May 14, so that stands still.
