Good News: Dearness Allowance to Government employees on revised rates effective from July 2025

Srinagar, July 28: In continuation to the Government Order No. 155-F of 2025 dated 04.06.2025, it is hereby ordered that Government Employees working in regular pay levels under 7th Pay Commission recommendations accepted and notified vide SRO 193 of 2018 dated 24-04-2018 shall be paid Dearness Allowance as under:-

Existing Rate of DA per month

Revised Rate of DA per month

With effect from

55% of Basic Pay

58% of Basic Pay

(i)

The term 'Basic Pay' in the revised pay structure means the pay drawn in the prescribed level in the Pay matrix as per 7th Pay Commission recommendations, but does not include any other type of pay like special pay etc.

(ii)

The arrears on account of additional installment of Dearness Allowance with effect from July, 2025 to September, 2025 shall be paid in cash in October, 2025 and shall form part of monthly salary from October, 2025 onwards.

(iii) The payment on account of Dearness Allowance involving fraction of 50 paisa and above shall be rounded to the next higher rupee and the fraction of less than : 50 paisa shall be ignored.
