JKBOSE Class 10th Exams: Over 95,000 Students Ready for Class 10th Exams Tomorrow
JKBOSE Ensures Smooth, Fair, and Well-Supervised Examination Process
Srinagar, Nov 02: Nearly 95,000 students are set to appear for the Class 10th annual examinations starting today, November 3, with 994 centres established across Kashmir Division and the winter zones of Jammu Division to ensure a smooth and orderly conduct of the exams.
In a statement Board of School Education as per news agency Kashmir News Corner --- KNC said, As many as 994 examination centres have been set-up to facilitate Annual examination of nearly 95,000 students of class 10th across Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu Division beginning on November, 3.
This was stated in a statement issued by J&K BOSE today, mentioning that the timing of the examination will be 11 AM to 2 PM, it reads.
While 68,804 students belong to 10 districts of Kashmir Division, 25,224 belong to winter zone areas of Jammu Division falling in its 8 districts, it reads.
Statement further reads that, A total of 660 from Kargil and 95 from Leh district are also writing the examinations.
The Board has made elaborate arrangements for ensuring fair, transparent and orderly exams. For the purpose, centre superintendents and supervisory staff stand deployed for duties with strict instructions to safeguard the integrity of exams, it reads.
The Board has also deployed vigilance squads for random checking to ensure compliance with examination protocol. The vigilance teams have been advised to display good behaviour with the candidates while carrying out their duties, it reads.
The Board has requested district administrations to impose restrictions under Section-163 BNSS to prevent any kind of outer interference with the sanctity of the exams, it reads.
The candidates writing the exams have been urged to wear warm clothes in view of dip in temperature to ward off cold effects especially in far- off and hilly areas, statement reads. (KNC)
