The Jammu & Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially enabled the Edit Option facility for online application forms submitted under Advertisement Notification Nos. 08 and 09 of 2025. This opportunity has been provided after receiving multiple representations from applicants seeking corrections in permitted fields of their application forms.
About JKSSB Edit Option 2025
The Edit Option allows candidates to modify specific details in their already submitted online application forms for various UT, Divisional, and District Cadre posts advertised by JKSSB. The facility is strictly time-bound and applies only to eligible applicants.
This decision has been taken in the interest of candidates to rectify genuine mistakes made during the application process.
Advertisements Covered Under Edit Option
The Edit Option is applicable for applications submitted under the following notifications:
- Advertisement Notification No. 08 of 2025, dated 27 September 2025
- Advertisement Notification No. 09 of 2025, dated 27 September 2025
Only candidates who applied under these notifications are eligible to use the edit facility.
JKSSB Edit Option 2025 – Important Dates
The Edit Option window will remain operational:
- From: 27 December 2025 (12:00 AM)
- To: 31 December 2025 (11:59 PM)
Candidates are advised to complete all corrections well before the closing date, as no further extension will be granted.
Fields Allowed for Editing
During the edit window, candidates can modify only the permitted fields in their online application forms as allowed by JKSSB.
Non-Editable Fields (Important)
As clearly mentioned in the official notification, the following details cannot be edited under any circumstances:
- Name of the Candidate
- Date of Birth
- Category
- Items Applied
- Phone Number
- Email ID
Any request related to changes in the above particulars will not be entertained.
