JKBOSE Issues Important Notification on Syllabus & Courses of Study for Classes 9th–12th | Revised Syllabus Details for Select Subjects

The (JKBOSE) has issued an important notification clarifying the status of syllabus and courses of study for Classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th for the upcoming academic sessions across Kashmir Division, Jammu Division (Winter Zone), and Jammu Division (Summer Zone).

The notification provides clarity for students, parents, teachers, and school administrations, confirming that most syllabi remain unchanged, while specific subjects for Classes 11th and 12th have been revised.

Key Highlights of JKBOSE Notification

🔹 Classes 9th & 10th: No Change in Syllabus

There is no change in the syllabus and courses of study for:

Class 9th

Class 10th

Applicable for:

Academic Session 2025–26 (Kashmir Division & Winter Zone Jammu)

Academic Session 2026–27 (Summer Zone Jammu)

Students will continue to follow the existing syllabus already in circulation.

🔹 Classes 11th & 12th: Selective Revision in Syllabus

JKBOSE has clarified that the syllabus for Classes 11th and 12th remains unchanged, except for the following subjects, which have been revised and updated:

✅ Revised Subjects – Class 11th

Punjabi
Physical Education

✅ Revised Subjects – Class 12th

Education
Environmental Science (EVS)

📌 Important:
Question papers for the Annual Examinations scheduled in:

October–November 2026 (Kashmir Division & Winter Zone Jammu), and

February–March 2027 (Summer Zone Jammu)
will be prepared strictly as per the revised syllabus for the above subjects.
