J&K College Admissions 2026: FYUGP & Integrated PG Admissions Soon, No CUET; Selection Based on 12th Merit
The Directorate of Colleges Higher Education Department J&K has officially issued an Admission Awareness Notice dated 16 April 2026, informing students about the upcoming admission process for FYUGP (Four-Year Undergraduate Programs) and Integrated PG Programs for the Academic Session 2026–27.
As per the notification, admissions across all Government Degree Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir will begin shortly, bringing important changes under the NEP 2020 framework.

All undergraduate admissions will be granted strictly on the basis of Class 12th (10+2) marks, eliminating the requirement of CUET for this session.
