Round-3 Direct System Allotment Explained
For programmes listed under Annexure-B:
- No physical counselling will be conducted.
- Candidates must submit fresh programme preferences.
- Previous preferences will not automatically be considered.
- Candidates can submit unlimited programme preferences.
- Preference order is extremely important.
How Preference Order Works
The system first checks Preference No. 1.
If a seat is unavailable based on merit or vacancy, the system moves to Preference No. 2, then Preference No. 3, and so on.
Therefore, candidates should place their most desired programme and college at the top of their preference list.
Walk-in Admissions Explained
Candidates seeking admission under Annexure-A programmes must:
- Register on the admission portal.
- Visit the concerned college directly.
- Carry all original documents.
- Complete verification at the college.
Admissions will generally be offered on a first-come-first-served basis.
However, if more candidates report than available seats, colleges may use 10+2 merit for selection.
Important Instructions
- Carry all original documents during verification.
- Use a valid mobile number and email ID.
- Carefully arrange programme preferences before final submission.
- Respond to scrutiny objections within the prescribed time.
- Keep checking the admission portal regularly.
- Admission remains subject to eligibility verification.
- Incorrect claims regarding marks, category, reservation, or eligibility may lead to rejection at any stage.
- No request for modification of merit-related information will be entertained after final submission.
