- Two-Year Draftsman Training Course Certificate/Diploma from a Government-recognised institute.
Works Supervisor

- Building Construction or Carpentry Trade Certificate issued by JK Board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE) or Directorate General of Training (DGT).
Warder
Candidates must possess:
- Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognised board.

Selection Process
Public Works (R&B) Posts
Selection will be based solely on:
- Written Examination (OMR Based)
The examination will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions.
Warder Recruitment
Selection includes:

- Physical Standard Test (PST)
- Physical Endurance Test (PET)
The written examination will contain objective-type multiple-choice questions in English language.

Physical Standards for Warder
Male Candidates
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 6 inches
- Minimum Chest: 32–33.5 inches
Female Candidates
- Minimum Height: 5 feet 2 inches
Candidates must also be physically fit.
Physical Endurance Test (PET)
Male Candidates
- 1600 metre race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- 20 Push-ups
Female Candidates
- 1000 metre race in 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Shot Put (4 Kg): 14½ feet in three attempts
The PET will be qualifying in nature, and no marks will be awarded.
Special relaxation in PET standards has also been provided for eligible Ex-Servicemen as detailed in the official notification.
