The process applies to eligible candidates belonging to J&K/Ladakh who have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the prescribed NTA cut-off and are covered under the JKBOPEE notification.

Candidates whose names were not included in the earlier annexure but who are domiciles of J&K/Ladakh and submitted the required documents in response to the earlier notification are also covered, subject to eligibility and verification.

Important: Mobile Phone Instruction

JKBOPEE has specifically advised candidates not to use mobile phones for registration or document uploading.

What Happens After Registration?

Once the registration process is completed, JKBOPEE will notify the Provisional UT Merit List (PUTML).

The merit list will form the basis for the subsequent online counselling process, where eligible candidates will be required to submit their preferences.

Candidates should therefore regularly monitor JKBOPEE notifications after registration for:

  • Provisional UT Merit List
  • Online counselling schedule
  • Preference submission
  • Seat allotment
  • Document verification/admission-related instructions

The Board has advised candidates not to depend solely on newspaper publication of notices and to regularly check the official website.

Student Advice

Candidates should complete their registration well before August 10, 2026, rather than waiting for the final hours.

Before submitting the application, keep the NEET score card, Class 12 marks card, domicile/category certificates and matriculation certificate ready. Candidates applying under NRI or Hindu Minority quota should also verify the additional documentation requirements in the notification.

Most importantly, registration and NEET qualification alone do not guarantee admission. Candidates must satisfy the applicable eligibility conditions and successfully clear document verification.
