How to Complete Admission After Selection

Candidates who have been allotted a seat should follow these steps:

1. Visit the official JKBOPEE website.
2. Log in to the candidate portal using their credentials.
3. Generate and download the Provisional Allotment Letter.
4. Check the allotted college/institution and course details carefully.
5. Report physically to the allotted institution between August 17 and August 19, 2026.

What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join?

Can a Round-2 Candidate Participate in Round 3?

According to the notification, a candidate allotted a particular institution and discipline in Round 2 who has joined, failed to join, or cancelled the admission after joining will not be permitted to opt for the same institution in the third round.

However, the candidate may opt for other institutions in the third round, subject to availability of seats.

Admission Cancellation

A candidate who wishes to cancel admission after joining can submit an admission cancellation application on or before the last date fixed for reporting/joining, i.e. August 19, 2026, 5:00 PM.

The concerned institution will upload the cancellation request on the admission portal, after which the candidate can verify the cancellation status.

No fee shall be charged by the institution for cancellation of a seat during any round of counselling.

The validity of the Reserved Category Certificate for this admission process is linked to May 22, 2026, which was the last date fixed by JKBOPEE for submission of the online application form for GNM Lateral Entry Course 2026.
