Sports Category Candidates
The candidature of candidates who have applied under the Sports sub-category remains provisional.
JKBOPEE has received the list of candidates furnished by the J&K Sports Council, and the inter-se sports merit/ranking will be determined separately.
If a candidate's name does not figure in the applicable Sports Council list, the candidate may be considered under Open Merit or another applicable reserved category, provided the candidate otherwise meets the eligibility requirements.
What Happens If a Category Certificate Is Invalid?
JKBOPEE has clarified that if a candidate's category certificate is found invalid during verification, the candidate will be considered under the Open Merit (OM) category for seat allotment.

Therefore, candidates should ensure that all certificates submitted to the Board are valid and genuine.
