JKBOPEE NEET MDS Round 1 Allotment 2026
The provisional allotment has been issued after JKBOPEE conducted the first round of online counselling for filling seats in NEET MDS Courses-2026.
Eligible candidates had submitted their online preferences/choices between September 3 and September 5, 2026.
Based on the counselling process, candidates have now been provisionally allotted seats in Government Dental Colleges/Institutions of UT of J&K.

Category Certificate Verification
JKBOPEE has specifically emphasized the verification of documents, particularly Reserved Category Certificates.
The concerned colleges/institutions have been directed to verify the validity and authenticity of category certificates before granting admission under a reserved category.
The cut-off date for validity of category certificates is August 23, 2026, which was the last date fixed by BOPEE for registration.

Ladakh Candidates: Important Instructions
Candidates belonging to UT of Ladakh have additional requirements.
Their ST certificate issued by the competent authority will be treated as a Domicile Certificate for the purpose specified in the notification.
Ladakh candidates are also required to submit an undertaking regarding compulsory service in UT of Ladakh for the prescribed period immediately after completion of the MDS degree.
Candidates concerned should obtain and submit the required undertaking in the prescribed format available through the JKBOPEE website.
What Happens If a Candidate Does Not Join?
The allotment is provisional and candidates must physically report to the allotted institution within the prescribed period.
If a candidate fails to join the allotted institution by September 11, 2026, at 4:30 PM, the allotted seat will be treated as cancelled.
The candidate will then cease to have any claim over the allotted seat.
Therefore, candidates should complete all admission formalities well before the deadline.
Can a Candidate Cancel Admission After Joining?
Yes. A candidate who has obtained admission and subsequently wishes to cancel it can submit an admission cancellation application on or before the last date fixed for reporting/joining, i.e. September 11, 2026, up to 4:30 PM.
The concerned institution will upload the cancellation application on the admission portal and process the cancellation.
Candidates can subsequently verify their admission cancellation status on the portal.
Once cancelled, the allotted seat will be treated as cancelled.
Important Rule for NEET MDS Round 2
Candidates should pay close attention to the restriction concerning subsequent counselling rounds.
A candidate who has been allotted a particular discipline and institution in Round 1 and:
- Joined the allotted seat;
- Failed to join the allotted seat; or
- Cancelled admission after joining,
will not be eligible to fill or opt for the same discipline in the same institution in the Second Round.
However, such a candidate may opt for:
- Other disciplines in the same institution; and
- All disciplines in other institutions,
subject to the applicable rules and eligibility.
NEET MDS Admission Fee
