JKBOPEE Provisional Selection List for Admission to B.E. / B. Tech. (Engineering) Courses 2023 in Government/Private Engineering Colleges of UT of J&K.

Consequent upon conduct of physical round of counselling held from 03.08.2023 to 05.08.2023 for admission to B.E. / B. Tech. (Engineering) courses-2023 in Government/Private Engineering Colleges of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, the list of candidates provisionally recommended for allotment of streams/institutions as per their merit /preferences preferred by them during the physical counselling is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to this Notification which shall be available on BOPEE official website www.jkbopee.gov.in only.
The candidates provisionally recommended shall report for admission to the allotted Colleges/Institutions by or before 14.08.2023 (upto 4:00 p.m.) along with their relevant certificates in original. The concerned Heads of the Institutions shall complete the admission process after checking the eligibility of the candidates and verifying the following documents:
1. Domicile Certificate.
2. Marks Certificate of 12th Class.
3. Date of Birth Certificate (10th Marks Sheet/Diploma).
4. Category Certificate, if applicable.
5. ID card to verify the identity of the candidate, &
6. Any other document, as required by the concerned College/Institution for admission purposes.
Note:
1. All the Heads of the Institutions/Colleges are requested to keep their admission counters
open on holidays /off days to facilitate the candidates to complete their admission process well in time.
2. Admission of any candidate(s) found to have concealed any information shall be cancelled abinitio and fine/penalty shall be imposed upon him/her in accordance with the laid down rules.
3. The allotment of Seats in Government Colleges / Institutions have been made in
accordance with the provisions of S.O. 127 of 2020 dated 20-04-2020 read with S.O. 249 of 2021 dated 23-07-2021.
4. The Concerned Colleges/Institutions shall ensure that in case of a person with disability, is selected in Open Merit or some other Reserved Category, the College/ Institution shall admit such candidate(s) strictly as per the PwD benchmark fixed by the Competent Authority. In case of any ambiguity, the concerned Principal(s) shall refer such case(s) to the concerned Medical Board for verification of such certificates by constituting a Special Medical Board to assess such candidate(s) and make recommendations based on which Colleges shall take further necessary action. In case any such candidate does not fulfill the benchmarks of disability, he/she shall not be admitted to the Course/College and the
matter shall be reported also to the BOPEE.
5. For fee related query, candidates provisionally recommended for admission are advised to contact the concerned College/Institution.
The Heads of the Institutions shall keep record of admissions and send the shortfall (both soft & hard copies signed by the Principal) of the candidates, if any, who have not completed their admission within prescribed time mentioned above to the Board through e-mail viz. coejakbopee@gmail.com / helpdeskjakbopee@gmail.com on 14.08.2023 at 5:00 p.m. positively.
The other terms and conditions shall remain the same as notified by the Board throughe-Information Brochure/Notification/Notices issued from time to time in this regard.
