SBI Recruitment 2023-24: Apply for 2000 Probationary Officer Posts

The State Bank of India (SBI) has initiated the recruitment process for probationary officers for the year 2023-24. Interested candidates should complete their applications through the online portal on the SBI website no later than September 9, 2023.

Application fees are set at ₹750 for General/EWS/OBC candidates, while there are no charges for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

To be eligible, applicants must possess essential academic qualifications, including a graduation degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Those in their Final Year/Semester of graduation may apply provisionally, with the condition that they must provide proof of graduation by December 31, 2023, if called for an interview.

Candidates with an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before December 31, 2023. Candidates with qualifications in fields like Medicine, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy, etc., are also eligible.

Applicants should be between 21 and 30 years old as of April 1, 2023. This means their birthdates must fall between April 2, 1993, and April 1, 2002.

The total number of vacancies available is 2,000.

The selection process for Probationary Officers includes three phases: Phase-I involves the Preliminary Examination, Phase II includes the Main Examination, and Phase III consists of a Psychometric Test, Group Exercise, and Interview.

The starting emoluments are ₹41,960 (with four advance increments) in the pay scale of ₹36,000-1,490/7-46,430-1,740/2-49,910-1,990/7-63,840, applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. Officers will also be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, and Contributed Pension Fund (NPS), as well as benefits like LFC, Medical Facilities, Lease Rental Facility, and other allowances as per prevailing rules.
