IGNOU Admissions 2024: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has stared the fresh admission cycle for undergraduate, postgraduate, and other programmes for the July 24 academic year. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official websites — ignouiop.samarth.edu.in and ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
The last date to apply for the various programmes at IGNOU is June 30. The university offers certificates, diplomas, advanced diplomas, postgraduate diplomas, and degrees.
Earlier the IGNOU registration’s last date for submission was extended till May 15.

Step 1: Visit the official website — ignouiop.samarth.edu.in or ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in
Step 2: Click on the new registrations and create your account.
Step 3: Key in your required credentials
Step 4: Fill the application form. Save, submit, and pay the fees.
Step 5: Download and save the application form for future reference.
IGNOU is offering more than 290 UG, PG, PG diploma, diploma, certificate and awareness programmes through ODL and online mode. IGNOU ODL courses are available for students in certificate, diploma, and degree formats at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The open and distance learning modes of the university consist of a great range of courses that belong to the arts, commerce, management, science, social sciences, languages, fashion, tourism, information technology, and many other fields.
Eligibility criteria
Students who want to take admission in UG course must have a 10+2 from any recognized educational board with a minimum of 50 per cent marks. If any student wants to pursue a PG course from Indira Gandhi National Open University, they must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream from any recognized university with a minimum of 50 per cent marks.
Candidates have to pay Rs 300 for the registration fee for all the UG courses, applicants can pay by using a debit/credit card or net banking. The PG course’s academic fees start from Rs 8,400 to Rs 45,000. (The Indian Express)
