JKBOSE Issues Notice on Deferred & Unfair Means Cases for Class 10th, 11th and 12th Exams 2025


The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued an official notification regarding deferred cases and Unfair Means (UFM) cases of SSE (Class 10th), HSP-I (Class 11th), and HSP-II (Class 12th) examinations of the Annual / Bi-Annual Session 2025. The notice has been released by the Joint Secretary, UFM, JKBOSE.


JKBOSE Deferred & UFM Cases Hearing – Official Update

As per the notification, candidates involved in Unfair Means cases and those whose cases were deferred earlier are required to appear before the JKBOSE Sub-Committee for hearing.

The notice applies to:
  • SSE (Class 10th) Annual Regular 2025 – Winter Zone
  • HSP-II (Class 12th) Annual Regular 2025 – Winter Zone
  • SSE (Class 10th) & HSP-I (Class 11th) Annual Private / Bi-Annual 2025
  • Deferred cases of Bi-Annual Session 2025 (Soft & Hard Zones)

  • Date of Meeting: 27 December 2025
  • Venue: JKBOSE Office, Rehari Colony, Jammu
  • Reporting Time: As per the group-wise schedule mentioned in the notification
  • Authority: Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE)

Group-Wise Schedule Highlights

The board has issued a detailed roll-number-wise and group-wise schedule, including:
  • Group-I (Class 10th): 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
  • Group-II (Class 10th): 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Group-I (Class 12th): 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
  • Group-II (Class 12th): 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Separate instructions have also been issued for superintendents, deputy superintendents, and supervisory staff to ensure smooth conduct.



Instructions for Candidates

JKBOSE has clearly directed that:
  • Candidates must appear in person before the committee.
  • Failure to appear will result in the case being decided ex-parte based on available records.
  • The decision of the Sub-Committee will be final and binding.
  • Candidates should carry roll number slips and relevant documents.

Instructions for Supervisory Staff
  • Supervisory staff must attend the meeting.
  • Centre records, sitting plans, and related documents must be produced.
  • Any violation of JKBOSE instructions may attract disciplinary action under BOSE regulations.
