The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially extended the last date for submission of application forms under the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMS) Examination 2025–26 for Class 8 (VIII) students. The extension notification was issued by the Academic Division of JKBOSE on 22 January 2026.

This extension provides additional time to eligible students studying in government schools across Jammu & Kashmir to apply for the prestigious NMMS scholarship, which supports meritorious students from economically weaker sections.
