JKBOSE Announces Offline Exam Form Submission Schedule for JKSOS Class 10th & 12th Exams 2024–25


The (JKBOSE) has issued an important notification regarding the submission of offline examination forms and enrolment for Secondary School (Class 10th) and Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12th) examinations under the (JKSOS) scheme for the Annual/Bi-Annual Session 2024-25.

The notification is particularly meant for reappear, failure, and backlog candidates from previous sessions who are eligible to appear in the upcoming JKSOS examinations. These candidates are required to submit their permission-cum-examination forms in offline mode through the designated offices of JKBOSE within the prescribed schedule.

According to the board, candidates whose results were declared on January 24, 2025 under JKSOS examinations and those from earlier sessions who fall under the reappear or failure category are eligible to apply for the upcoming examination session.



Offline Submission of JKSOS Examination Forms

JKBOSE has clarified that the submission of examination forms will be conducted strictly in offline mode. Eligible candidates must submit their forms through the JKBOSE Divisional Offices, Sub-Offices, or Branch Offices located across the Union Territory.

Candidates are advised to ensure that their forms are properly filled and submitted through their respective accredited study centres or institutions. The board has instructed that the entire process should be completed within the prescribed deadlines to avoid additional late fees.

The offline submission process will begin on March 10, 2026. Candidates can submit their examination forms without late fee until March 24, 2026.


JKSOS Exam Form Submission Schedule

According to the notification issued by the , the offline examination forms for JKSOS Class 10th and Class 12th examinations will be accepted as per the following schedule:

For JKSOS Class 10th (Secondary School Examination)

The normal prescribed fee is ₹1240 per candidate.

  • Without Late Fee: March 10, 2026 to March 24, 2026
  • With Late Fee of ₹810 (Total ₹2050): March 25, 2026 to April 3, 2026
  • With Late Fee of ₹2085 (Total ₹3325): April 4, 2026 to April 13, 2026

For JKSOS Class 12th (Higher Secondary Part-II Examination)

The prescribed examination fee for Class 12th candidates is ₹1435.

  • Without Late Fee: March 10, 2026 to March 24, 2026
  • With Late Fee of ₹810 (Total ₹2245): March 25, 2026 to April 3, 2026
  • With Late Fee of ₹2085 (Total ₹3520): April 4, 2026 to April 13, 2026

Candidates are advised to submit their examination forms within the normal deadline to avoid additional late fee charges.


Late Fee Provision for Delayed Applications

For candidates who fail to submit their forms within the normal submission period, JKBOSE has also provided additional time with late fee charges.

The board has allowed two extended periods during which candidates can still apply by paying an additional late fee along with the prescribed examination fee.

The first late fee phase will be applicable for the next ten days following the normal deadline, while the second late fee phase will apply for another ten days thereafter.

However, candidates are strongly advised to submit their forms within the normal schedule to avoid paying additional charges.


Examination Fees for JKSOS Candidates

As per the notification issued by JKBOSE, the examination fee structure differs for Class 10th and Class 12th candidates appearing through the JKSOS scheme.

For Secondary School Examination (Class 10th) under JKSOS, the prescribed examination fee is ₹1240 per candidate.

For Higher Secondary Part-II Examination (Class 12th) under the JKSOS scheme, the examination fee has been fixed at ₹1435 per candidate.

Candidates submitting forms during the late fee periods will be required to pay the additional late fee prescribed by the board along with the normal examination fee.


Availability of Examination Forms

JKBOSE has informed that the permission-cum-examination forms will be available at the concerned Divisional, Sub, and Branch Offices of the board.

These forms will be issued to the authorized representatives or admission in-charge of accredited JKSOS study centres upon payment of a nominal fee for the examination form.

Candidates must collect the forms through their respective study centres and ensure that all details are filled accurately before submission.


Important Instructions for Candidates

The board has issued several important instructions for candidates applying for the JKSOS examinations.

The board has directed that only five candidates’ registered particulars should be filled on each side of the enrolment sheet.

In addition, the mobile number and Aadhaar number of each candidate must be clearly recorded on the enrolment sheets to maintain accurate identification and communication.

The prescribed examination fee must be deposited through the concerned JKBOSE offices only, and institutions should coordinate with the Divisional Offices in Jammu and Kashmir or respective Sub and Branch Offices for fee submission.

Furthermore, institutions must ensure that the examination forms and statements are complete in all respects before submission, along with the required forwarding letters.


Submission of Forms at JKBOSE Offices

All accredited centres must submit the completed examination forms and statements through their authorized representatives or admission in-charge at the designated JKBOSE offices.

Forms can be submitted at the District Office Lalmandi Srinagar, Divisional Office Jammu, or the respective Sub and Branch Offices of JKBOSE located in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

The board has emphasized that all documentation must be submitted in the prescribed format and within the scheduled timeframe.


Important Note Regarding Holidays

JKBOSE has also clarified that if the last date for submission of examination forms falls on a public holiday, the next working day will automatically be treated as the final date for submission.
