JKPSC Declares CCE 2024 Result; 90 Candidates Shortlisted for Medical Examination
The (JKPSC) has officially declared the result of the J&K Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2024 after the completion of the interview process.
According to the notification issued by the commission, 90 candidates have been recommended for Medical Examination as the next stage of the recruitment process. The result has been announced following the conduct of the Personality Test (Interview) held at the JKPSC office in Jammu.

Background of JKPSC CCE 2024 Examination
The Combined Competitive Examination is conducted by the to recruit candidates for prestigious administrative services in the Union Territory.
Earlier, the General Administration Department (GAD) referred 90 vacancies to JKPSC for recruitment through the Combined Competitive Examination 2024.
These posts were advertised by JKPSC through Notification No. 04-PSC (DR-P) of 2024 dated July 26, 2024.
Preliminary Examination Details
A large number of candidates participated in the initial stages of the examination process.
- 31,664 candidates were provisionally allowed to appear in the Preliminary Examination.
- The Preliminary Examination was conducted on February 23, 2025.
- Out of these candidates, 19,659 candidates actually appeared in the preliminary test.
Following evaluation, JKPSC declared the preliminary results and 2,768 candidates qualified for the Main Examination.
Additionally, 23 candidates were allowed to appear in the mains examination following orders of the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal.
Main Examination Conducted in 2025
The J&K Combined Competitive (Mains) Examination 2024 was conducted from July 23, 2025 to August 1, 2025.
The examination was held at designated centres in Jammu and Srinagar.
A total of 2,429 candidates appeared in the Mains examination, after which the commission shortlisted candidates for the interview stage.
Candidates Called for Interview
Based on the criteria fixed by the commission and the relevant rules, 345 candidates were declared qualified for the Personality Test (Interview).
However:
- Four candidates were rejected during the process.
- Three additional candidates were called for interview from the respective categories.
- Six petitioners were also called for interview following orders of the Hon’ble Central Administrative Tribunal.
The Personality Test (Interview) of candidates was conducted from March 5 to March 13, 2026 at the office of JKPSC in Jammu.
Final Result and Recommendation for Medical Examination
After the completion of interviews, the commission held its meeting on March 13, 2026, and finalized the result.
According to the official notification:
- 340 candidates appeared in the interview stage.
- 4 candidates did not appear for the interview.
- The commission has declared the aggregate marks of 340 candidates who participated in the personality test.
Out of these candidates, 90 candidates have been recommended for Medical Examination, which is the next step before final selection.
Medical Examination Process
The candidates recommended by JKPSC will now have to undergo Medical Examination as part of the recruitment process.
The medical tests will be conducted at:
- Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar, or
- Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu
Candidates will have the option to choose the Medical Board of their preference for undergoing the medical examination.
The dates for the medical examination will be notified separately by the commission.
Candidates will also be required to pay the prescribed fee before undergoing the medical check-up.
Important Note for Candidates
JKPSC has clarified that being called for Medical Examination does not guarantee final selection.
The commission also stated that:
- Marks cards of candidates will be uploaded on the official website after completion of the selection process.
- The lists mentioned in the notification are provisional and subject to the outcome of any pending writ petitions before competent courts.
