JKSCERT likely to announce 8th Class 2023 results tomorrow

ATD to take some time to start: Official

Srinagar, Apr 09: Jammu and Kashmir State Council for Educational Research and Training (JK-SCERT) is expected to announce the 8th class 2023 results tomorrow.

According to a top official, all the necessary processes have been completed, and the results are ready to be announced. It is worth mentioning that the examinations for 8th class were held from February 27 to March 10, 2023 this year.

The official further added that the academic session will commence immediately, one week after the announcement of results.

In another development, the Annual Transfer Drive (ATD) for teaching staff of the School Education Department is expected to take some time to start.

According to an official, online links will be opened only after everything is set in order for the ATD to begin.

Moreover, on being asked about the discrepancy of working hours in schools located within and outside the Srinagar Municipal Limits, the official stated that they would soon decide on the new timings for schools within the Municipal Limits.

It is important to note that government and private schools in Srinagar Municipal Limits typically operate from 9 am to 3 pm in April, while those outside the Municipal limits have working hours from 10 am to 4 pm.

However, the government recently announced that the working hours for schools in Srinagar Municipal Limits would be from 9 am to 2 pm, while the timing for schools outside Municipal Limits remains unchanged, resulting in a one-hour discrepancy.
