JKBOPEE Admission 2023: Mop-Up Round for MBBS/BDS Courses & OM/HM Quota Seats in ASCOMS Jammu
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released a crucial notification regarding the admission to MBBS/BDS Courses for the year 2023, including OM (Open Merit) and HM (Hindu Minority) Quota seats at ASCOMS Jammu. This notification is in continuation of the admission process and aims to fill the remaining seats and vacancies due to non-joining of candidates.
Important Dates for Mop-Up Round:
- - Date: September 20, 2023 (Wednesday)
- - 8:30 a.m to 10:00 a.m: Registration/Attendance for all reserved category candidates (UT Rank from 01 to 3862)
- - 10:00 a.m to 11:00 a.m: Registration/Attendance for all Open Merit, Reserve category, including HM candidates (UT Rank from 01 to 1000)
- - Date: September 21, 2023 (Thursday)
- - 8:30 a.m to 10:30 a.m: Registration/Attendance for candidates with UT Rank from 1001 to 3862 in Open Merit, Reserve category, and HM candidates (in ASCOMS)
Eligibility for Mop-Up Round:
Candidates who meet the following criteria are eligible to participate in the mop-up round:
1. Candidates who were not allotted any seat during the 1st or 2nd rounds of counseling.
2. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the 1st round but have not been upgraded due to lower merit.
3. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the 2nd round and want to participate in the mop-up round for up-gradation.
4. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the 1st round but did not join against the allotted seat.
5. Candidates upgraded during the 2nd round of counseling are not eligible for the mop-up round.
6. Candidates allotted seats in the AIQ mop-up round and have joined their respective colleges/institutions are not eligible.
Please note that candidates who get upgraded/allotted seats during the mop-up round must join the college/institution by the specified deadline.
